Directions to Elgin Ridge Wines
You can reach us via the N2 either from Cape Town and Somerset West over Sir Lowry’s Pass or from the R43 (Bot River, Hermanus).
A: from Somerset West – follow the N2 over Sir Lowry’s Pass until you get the to Peregrine Farm Stall on your right, just after Peregrine is the Viljoenshoop Road turn-off, turn right into Vijoenshoop Road. Now follow the directions under “C”.
B: from Bot River – stay on the N2 if you pass Bot River from Caledon or join the N2 if you drive from the R43 (Hermanus/Kleinmond). Stay on the N2 until you see the Viljoenshoop turn-off just before Peregrine Farm Stall on your left and the Grabouw turn-off on the right. Now follow the directions under “C”.
C: to Elgin Ridge Wine Estate – Turn into Viljoenshoop Road and turn right into Appletiser Road. Go past the Appletiser factory, then on the left is a small green school. Turn left at the school and travel for about 2Ks until you see Elgin Ridge Wine Estate on your right, where you can enjoy panoramic views of the surrounding mountains while walking through vineyards tended to by grazing ducks.
